1 lb. uncooked spaghetti
1 lb. ground turkey or beef
2 tbsp. jarred minced garlic
1 tsp. each dried Basil and dried Oregano
A pinch of Salt and a few grinds of Fresh Ground Pepper
1 jar spaghetti sauce (seasoned is good and organic is great).
Heat a pot with boiling water on the stove for the pasta. Brown the meat with the garlic and the spices. When it is cooked, carefully pour the jar of sauce over the meat and add the salt and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes on low.
When the pasta is simmering, add the pasta to the water and cook according to the package directions (usually about 9 minutes). Mix pasta and sauce together in a large bowl. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
Good sides or starters: Caesar salad bag and/or garlic bread.
